The sinangogue was built in the end of XIX a. in Kaunas street. It has a style of istoricism. However in the fires of 1909 and 1911 it perished. Present day sinagogue was rebuilt in 1911 following the scetch of the original one. At the same time the house for rabi was built nearby as well.
